Lessons are focused on learning songs

When you first start lessons at my studio, you’ll learn how to play simple songs that you enjoy.  Students learn best when they’re playing songs that are fun!  This will give you the basics to play a wider variety of songs.  As you become more comfortable with playing, you’ll also learn how music works – scales, chords and other basics.  Nothing scary, just a little bit at a time.  Let’s get started!

 

Lessons are both fun and enriching

Learning goes down much easier when we’re all having fun. I end each lesson on a positive note, so students leave feeling good about themselves, and ready to tackle the challenges ahead.  Students will be provided a clear lesson plan, complete with goals.  At the end of lesson, I give each student specific written instructions to get over the next hurdle in their guitar playing.

Lessons are held in my convenient Duluth studio

 

Traffic is crazy around here, I know. So if you’re in the Duluth area, I’m very easy to get to, and I don’t think anyone has ever gotten lost either. I’m near the intersection of Bunten Rd. and Duluth Hwy 120.

There are no “cookie cutter” lessons here – boring! Every student has different interests and abilities. I design each lesson to meet a larger goal, based on each student’s input.
